It's officially fall!! Are you a pumpkin or apple person? While I love both, my go to has been apple anything and everything this time of year. I love making this easy applesauce as a snack, side dish, or even a pancake topping!

Ingredients:

3lbs apples, cored, peeled, and chopped

2 cups water

1-2 TBSP cinnamon

Directions:

Clean the apples. Peel, core, and chop apples into ½” cubes. Add apple pieces into large pot. Add water and cinnamon and turn stove onto medium high heat. Once the water begins to boil, reduce heat to a simmer, and stir apple mixture often. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, until apples are soft and tender. Using an immersion blender, lightly blend apples for a chunky applesauce consistency. Refrigerate applesauce and store up to 5 days. Enjoy!

Tip: If you do not have an immersion blender, you can use a potato masher!
